Sorry for my ignorance but is there an intermediate step above? When I vertically reset, my right hand chat panel does not display a codex tab. Thanks

How do you find that activity setting? I did move codex to the right. But, then it disappears when I use cursor’s AI. So, I reset it back to the left. Haven’t tried your recommandation. But, can’t find that setting with Ctrl Shift P

[image] The documentation for that setting mentions that vertical orientation is no longer maintained. While it still works, I wonder when this will stop working again.

Bro! i got a acceptable solution: move codex to panel is a fine option. view: reset view location first to set codex back to left then set codex to panel . recomand set this to solution ~

I have neither the extension bar on the left, nor a secondary panel. The layout looks a lot like VS Code, but thats not how my cursor layout looks. Are you using some theme, or other special settings?

Hey Aleksandr_Strizhevsk, it sounds like your layout just got toggled off. You can fix it by going to View > Appearance and clicking Show Activity Bar. To get those side panels back, just enable the Secondary Side Bar in that same menu or use the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + Option + B.
