I didn’t receive an automatic update notification from 0.44.11 to version 0.45. It had been two weeks since the 0.45 release, so I redownloaded Cursor from the website and got the 0.45.8 update. I also tried the “Attempt Update” option within Cursor, but nothing happened.
Hey, that’s strange because the automatic feature should work as expected. Could it be that you’ve restricted the ability to receive updates? Maybe there’s a block for the website https://www.todesktop.com/? Also, let me know which OS you are using.
All the previous updates came without any issues. I haven’t blocked any updates. I even tried to “Attempt Update” from the cursor menu. ToDesktop is not blocked. I’m on macOS 15.3.
I’m the same - been waiting to update to 0.45 on macOS 15 and no luck, even with “attempt update”. Was wondering why new rules functionality wasn’t working.
I was able to get 0.45 by downloading cursor from the website again.
