Cant update Cursor to 0.48 on Mac

Current Situation:

  • Running macOS (currently Sequoia 15.3.2) with “Early Access” enabled in settings.
  • Attempting to upgrade Cursor fails—no response when checking for updates.
  • Problem persistent since version 0.45.

Workaround:
Manual upgrades to 0.46 or 0.47 only possible via direct downloads from Cursor’s official download page.

I have tried to upgrade macOS to latest version, reinstall cursor with both versions (universal and arm64). Nothing seems to work.
Seeking solutions to resolve the auto-update issue or guidance on troubleshooting steps.
