Now we have three Surfaces

Now we have three interfaces:

  • Cursor IDE
  • the agents interface with “Projects”
  • Grok Bot

And none of them can be integrated cleanly into the others to create meaningful interaction.
Who comes up with such nonsense?

Hey @HorstHauser, thanks for sharing this.

You’re right that these don’t fit together as cleanly as they should yet. Making Cursor (the IDE), the agents window, and Grok Bot work together more smoothly is something we’re actively working towards.

Projects and Grok Bot are also both very new, so this is exactly the stage where feedback like yours shapes where they go.

To make sure it gets to the right people, could you share a bit more about what you were trying to do?

  1. What workflow were you going for? For example, handing work from Grok Bot to a Project, picking up a Project’s work in the IDE, or something else.
  2. Where exactly did it break down? What did you expect to happen, and what happened instead?
  3. If you could connect just one pair of these tomorrow, which would it be and how would you want it to work?

Would love to hear more.
