Hey!

I’ve got a legacy Pro account with 500 monthly requests. I’m running out so want to keep using with own Openai key, instead of usage based, because of the +20% Cursor topping on top of the ‘normal’ tokens costs.

My questions are:

  1. Can I make a custom name for my BYOK, so I can choose this obviously in my custom agent?
  2. How do I choose the reasoning for the BYOK Openai GPT5?
  3. Can I also set the ‘Edit & Reapply’ for this BYOK in the custom agent?
  4. Any tips? Yes always welcome :slight_smile:

Hey, you can use your API key for OpenAI, however, custom model names are not supported. You need to use the model names as specified by the provider.

However, I want to note that to access the GPT-5 model, you must have a tier from 1 to 5, which requires organizational verification.
