Describe the request

Hi Cursor team,

Right now, users can only delete chats one by one in the chat history panel. This becomes very time-consuming when there are many chats stored.

It would be very helpful to have a “Delete All Chats” or “Clear Chat History” option in the UI. This could be added to the history panel or to the settings menu.

Benefits of this feature:

  • Quickly reset the workspace without manually removing files or folders
  • Prevent performance issues from large amounts of stored chats
  • Give users more control over their data and privacy

I believe many users would appreciate a simple bulk-delete function instead of digging into local storage folders.
