Although Cursor’s Auto model attempts to select the most appropriate model, there are cases where the selected model may provide inadequate responses or get stuck in a response loop. I would like to request a feature that allows users to switch to a different model to continue the conversation when such issues occur.
This would provide an option to retry with a different model when the Auto model’s selected model fails to provide satisfactory answers or becomes stuck, without needing to start a new conversation.
