I am trying Cursor during a trial period. Running on a Macbook Pro (M4 architecture). Normally I copy and paste using Command-C and Command-V. this uses the buffer. I try copying an error from the Terminal and pasting into the Agent conversation area (with Command-V) but it does not paste. I verify that the buffer has something in it by temporarily pasting to note or a draft email. I searched for related errors but found something in 2024. How can I paste?
Hey, everything is working fine for me. Have you tried restarting Cursor? Maybe some program or extension is intercepting your clipboard?
It seems to depend on what I copy/paste and from where I perform this action. In the pane/window where Cursor shows its activity, if I try to copy and paste part of this window:
GET / 200 in 887ms
✓ Compiled /favicon.ico in 141ms
GET /favicon.ico?favicon.45db1c09.ico 200 in 372ms
it will not paste into Agent. But as you can see, I pasted it here without issue. Very odd. I am attaching the window so you can see my copy area. It seems a problem only in copying from this specific part of the Cursor app interface.
