Plan mode with Grok 4.5 doesn't show options

When using Grok 4.5 for plan mode, it doesn’t show selectable options, but only has text output.

Steps to Reproduce

1. use plan mode with Cursor Grok 4.5 High Fast.
2. Look at the output it produces.

Expected Behavior

Other models show the selectable options we can click through.

Hey, thanks for the report. This isn’t a bug, it’s the current expected behavior for Cursor Grok 4.5. The interactive picker AskQuestion is currently disabled for this model, so in Plan mode it asks follow-up questions inline, like in your screenshot with A/B/C/D plus Reply with your choices.

If you need clickable selectable options, use Composer 2.5 or a different non-Grok model. The picker works there like before.

This limitation is specific to the Cursor Grok model. They plan to bring AskQuestion support back in the future, but there’s no exact timeline yet. We’re tracking discussion and updates in this thread, I’ll add you there too: Grok 4.5 cannot use AskQuestion tool; falls back to inline questions (Composer 2.5 works)
