Plans apply globally across all agents instead of per-conversation

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

When I create a plan in one agent, it shows up in all other agents. Command content gets injected everywhere.
Example: Create a plan in Agent 1 that references close.md. Now Agents 2-5 all show — Cursor Command: close.md — auto-injected. Even new agents inherit this.

Steps to Reproduce

Open 5 agents (Cmd+I or Composer)
In Agent 1: Create a plan that references a command file
Switch to Agents 2-5
Command content appears in all agents
Open a new 6th agent
Content still appears

Expected Behavior

Plans should be per-conversation. Plan in Agent 1 only affects Agent 1.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey there!

What do you mean by this? Can you share a screenshot?

Cursor will take into account the files you have open or have recently opened and bring that context into new agents. But I’m curious to understand how referencing it in a plan is affecting this!
