Hey, thanks for the feature request, we’ll consider it.

deepseek v3.2 is officially out, so this request is more relevant than ever.

Yes, cursor should add this model immediately

Amusingly enough, the version labeled ‘DeepSeek V3.1’ on Cursor isn’t actually 3.1 at all — it’s just the minor revision DeepSeek-V3-0324, which they arbitrarily renamed to 3.1 and then never corrected until 3.2 came out.

DeepSeek-V3-0324 has a very short context window, making it unsuitable as a coding agent.

Cursor seems far more interested in keeping its margins than in hosting models that genuinely benefit users.

not sure about immediately since there are no stable providers yet

I was here multiple time in a day but… :smiling_face_with_tear:

I want Deepseek v3.2

please add , clear win. Should not be much different from v3.1 and significates a huge performance boost https://api-docs.deepseek.com/news/news251201

I need this model to vibe coding. Please add this.

Hello, I’m very much interested in getting 3.2 added into Cursor. Do you know when this is supposed to be available?

To Cursor Team: Any updates about adding DeepSeek in “native” supported models?

Up!

Same here. It would be really appreciated to add DeepSeek.

Hi,

I wonder if you have any news on adding DeepSeek to Cursor?

DeepSeek has released V4-Flash-0731. Its performance is genuinely impressive considering the price.

Hi Cursor team,

I’d really appreciate it if you could bring DeepSeek back as a native model — especially the latest DeepSeek V4 (including its thinking / agent-oriented variants).

V4 looks like a meaningful upgrade for tool use and agent workflows, so having it as a first-party model would make a big difference. BYOK / custom endpoints are possible, but they’re less stable and harder to rely on in Agent mode.

If native DeepSeek V4 support is something you can consider, that would mean a lot. Thank you for listening.
