Cursor IDE

Describe the request

Please provide an official API/SDK that lets developers embed Cursor chat into external applications while reusing Cursor account authentication and model entitlements.

Minimum v1: user auth, access to available Cursor models, streaming responses, tool/function-calling hooks, and conversation/session persistence.

Goal: enable Cursor-powered chat experiences in any app (desktop, web, IDEs, internal tools) using the same paid models/features users already have in Cursor.

This is already supported through the use of the API, CLI and Cloud Agents.
Its not clear to me what your end-game is here. Making a Cursor clone to skim off the top?

I have an IDE called Qt Creator. i want to use THAT IDE, and not have to switch back and forth between that and Cursor. I paid for cursor, i’d like it to be available inside my IDE of choice
