I have also, quite regularly, thought about the ability to purchase Cursor for someone who (sincerely) didn’t have the means to purchase it themselves. Maybe a gift certificate system or something. And I think there would need to be some consideration given to ensure it didn’t foster any sense of obligation on the part of the receiver, or the giver. So maybe built-in anonymity would also be important for all parties to ensure that.
