Quality of Cursor support, what are your experiences?

Hi,

I wrote an email to [email protected]:

Then I pasted that screenshot to chatgp and asked this question:

How would you rate the response from Nick? Did he read my email carefully?

Nick’s response seems somewhat generic and does not fully acknowledge the details of your email. Here are the key points that suggest he may not have read your message carefully:

  1. Lack of Specific Acknowledgment:

• You described that the issue is intermittent and related to the Dock process running over 60% CPU when using Cursor.

• Nick’s reply simply suggests downloading the latest version without addressing whether this is a known issue, whether they are investigating it, or if there are any temporary workarounds.

  1. Delayed Response Without Explanation:

• You mentioned that you opened a bug report 13 days ago without a response.

• Nick does not acknowledge this delay or provide any information about whether the issue was reviewed internally.

  1. No Technical Follow-up or Next Steps:

• Since you stated that you are already using the newest version of Cursor, simply recommending a download is not very helpful.

• A more thoughtful response could have asked for logs, system details, or specific steps to reproduce the issue.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)

Nick’s response is polite but lacks depth. A better response would have demonstrated engagement with the specific problem and offered a meaningful next step beyond a generic update suggestion.

May the Cursor team should use AI for the support.

I am very disappointed.
