We’ve worked with our model providers so that you shouldn’t have requests that aren’t “fast” up until the point where you are hitting your rate limits.
Claude 4 should be accessible in both plans as far as I know.
Usage-based pricing still has an effect with the new plan - if you hit your rate limits but don’t want to upgrade to the Ultra plan, usage based pricing will be used to pay for any requests you use outside of your rate limited usage.
We believe most users will not be limited by these rate limits in normal usage, but the system should be more flexible for all kinds of users now!
