I’ve received the refund notification, and I really appreciate how quickly it was processed — within just an hour!
Dear Cursor Support Team,
Thank you for your prompt response and for processing a partial refund. However, I would like to kindly request a full refund of my payment of $192.
When I signed up, I believed I was starting a trial period, and I was not aware that the annual fee would be charged immediately. I only used the plan for one day, and it was not my intention to purchase the full year in advance.
Since this was a genuine misunderstanding on my part, I kindly ask for your understanding and support in refunding the remaining amount ($13.64) so that the total refund equals my full payment of $192.
I truly appreciate your help and look forward to your confirmation.

Hello - I registered for an annual paid trial package and wanted to end the trial period early and start paying directly, but you automatically transferred me to a monthly paid package without any prompts or switching options. May I make some changes? Our company is eligible for reimbursement. Can you handle it for me immediately today? Thank you
I followed up with the Cursor support team regarding the refund. Unfortunately, they’ve denied the request, citing their strict policy that subscriptions are non-refundable once usage has been recorded. The Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, allowing us to continue using the service until then. It feels more like a penalty for choosing the yearly option.
—————————
Because using Cursor’s resources involves real costs, especially for model access, we are not able to issue a refund. Subscriptions that have been used are considered fully non-refundable.
Your subscription will continue until the end of your billing cycle, and you’ll have full access to all Pro features during this time.
I know this might feel disappointing, but please remember we are here to help with any questions or tips on getting the most out of your plan. You can always reach out to us, and we will do our best to support you.
