Requirements for Commands Management Platform
With the official release of Cursor 1.6’s Commands feature(Commands | Cursor Docs), this functionality has brought tremendous convenience to developers. However, in enterprise environments, there are often numerous company-specific Commands, and the current management approach has certain limitations.
Background
- Enterprises typically need to maintain specific Collections of Commands
- The existing manual copy-paste file approach is cumbersome and inefficient for management
- Lack of unified distribution and update mechanisms
Feature Proposal
Would you consider developing a dedicated Commands management feature, specifically including:
- Plugin-based Management: Develop a VSCode (Cursor) extension with a graphical management interface
- Remote Synchronization: Support configuration of internal enterprise service addresses for remote Commands retrieval
- Incremental Updates: Support selective download and update of partial or complete Commands
- Version Control: Provide version management and rollback functionality for Commands
Such functionality would significantly enhance the user experience for enterprise users, reduce maintenance costs, and improve team collaboration efficiency. Looking forward to consideration and feedback from the official team.
