Resizable user question window

Feature request for product/service

Cursor IDE

Describe the request

Currently, the window shown after the agent asks the user a question with options to choose from has a static size. On my laptop, it takes up quite a substantial amount of space in the chat.

Usually, before asking a question, the agent writes down the context of the question in the chat. When this context is large and/or contains tables, it’s quite uncomfortable to scroll through the chat in the small window left above the question UI.

It would be nice to be able to temporarily decrease the size of the question window, or simply hide/collapse it for a moment while scrolling through the chat.

Operating System (if it applies)

Hi @Dmytro_Moroz Thanks for the post! You can already collapse that Questions panel so you can read the chat above it. In the panel header, the rightmost chevron minimizes it to a single row. Click that chevron again, or the collapsed header, to expand it back.

That control is in both the Agents window and the editor chat pane on recent versions. If you don’t see it, update to the latest build from Cursor · Download .

A freeform drag-to-resize handle isn’t available today; however, we appreciate your feedback, and posting here on the forum allows others to weigh in as well.
