After some of latest updates a “restore to checkpoint” button just disappeared. Really inconvenient to control versions within one chat.
Maybe it’s moved to another place, please tell me how to find it?

Doesn’t make sense cos between my first chat and the current iteration, there’s been a lot of prompts. I think each prompt should have the Restor Checkpoint feature.

VERY often “Restore checkpoint” disappears and i have to re-start cursor for it to come back… ■■■■■, can we get a fix so that “Restore checkpoint” is ALWAYS present, i rely on it very much, thx.

Restore checkpoint is still missing on many prompts.

This is absolutely necessary that the RESTORE button comes back in every prompt. I just lost 7 hours of coding because of it no longer being there.

We need the restore button on any prompt which introduced ANY changes, not just the very first prompt in a thread.

The few times I have tried to use Restore Checkpoint, it has caused absolute chaos and lost or scrambled a bunch of work.
I think it is better that it is gone, and instead, folks rely on small, frequent commits to save work.
Sometimes a small commit is not enough to get to where you want to go in your code. It could take hours of work until you can build and preview what you have done and this via many small prompts. The Restore Checkpoint is essential – and it should have remained in the UI – it is up to you if you want to use it or not – but removing it is a critical error for the dev community.
