/resume command error in Cursor CLI

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor CLI

Describe the Bug

When I type /resume and select a past conversation, its content opens, however I’m unable to type in the “Add a follow-up” field. Also, no other key works (eg.: ctrl +c, esc), so the only way to leave the screen is by closing the terminal on the upper right “X”.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Type /resume and pick up a conversation
  2. Try to input a follow-up question

Expected Behavior

I was supposed to be able to follow-up a conversation.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Version Information

CLI Version 2026.03.25-933d5a6

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hi João,

Thanks for the report. We have a bug filed for a similar issue, and I’ve added your experience there. Out of curiosity, does this happen across all terminal apps you use? E.g. If you use a different terminal interface does the bug still appear?

Thanks!

Kevin

@kevinn, yes, this also happens in different terminal interfaces
