Reverting code when editing chats

Recently I noticed a new feature where if I edited a chat message it asked me if I wanted to revert any changes made after the chat I edited. I didn’t want this because it interferes with the way that I use llms for coding. I will often start with a big prompt for something and then follow up about bug fixes or small tweaks. After I fix something I will get rid of those messages by editing the first follow-up after the big prompt to ask something else. If I reverted this would revert my bug fix which I don’t want. I do this to keep the main prompt close in context which helps keep the llms focused on the main task rather than the small fixes.

Here is a diagram demonstrating this use.

This was fine because I could just select “don’t revert” but one time I clicked don’t ask again and clicked “don’t revert” thinking it would not revert every time without asking but now it defaults to reverting every time! I don’t know how to make it ask again and it is now reverting by default which prevents me from using Cursor how I want to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m also having this issue! I want to change my settings for this, because I accidentally chose the wrong one :frowning:
