Chat ignores and reverts intermediate user changes to files - it's super annoying

Example;

ctrl+l, request code change, hit apply

Chat makes a minor error (e.g. types travelTime instead of travel_time)

I correct error in the file.

Back to chat, request new change, hit apply

Chat will ignore my manual file changes, and revert to the previous incorrect typo - every single time!

Same, maybe it would help to add an option to send a file diff if there is any to the llms explaining those are user introduced

This has been around for a long time and is very annoying. +1 to getting this fixed. I tend to start new chats to get around it
