Review Functionality Repeatedly Brakes

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a workspace with 2 different folders (c:/test_1 , c:/test_2)
  2. Open gitkraken and point to repo that contains test_1, test_2
  3. Open VS 2022 and point to solution inside c:/test_1
  4. Ask cursor agent to make a change to code base

The ‘review file’ button in center of text editor in cursor will flash and then disappear.

Expected Behavior

Cursor SHOULD allow the user to review and accept/reject change. This should be at the core of Cursor! That fact it rarely works is awful.

Happens to me constantly in two different pcs and across different code bases!

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Could you please help us narrow this down:

  1. Other tools: Does the issue still happen if you close GitKraken and VS 2022 before using Cursor? (Wondering if there’s a file watching/locking conflict)
  2. Console errors: When the button disappears, please check Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console tab and share any red errors
  3. Is this on Editor mode or the new Agent Layout?

This will help the team investigate what’s causing the review functionality to break in your setup.
