"Review Next File" stuck -> keeps showing the brand_youtube.svg

Describe the Bug

So, I’ve used Cursor to create a bunch of svg images for usage, but now, everytime i click on “Review Next File” - it shows me the youtube_brand.svg and i have no way of going to the next one. the minute i close the tab, since there’s no route to go to the next file, and then am on a file and click “Review Next File”, i’m stuck being shown the very same image.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Cursor to create a bunch of brand SVG files
2. then be acknowledging changes for a file
3. click on “Review Next File”
4. continually be shown the first SVG, with no route to go to “Next File”

Expected Behavior

the expectation is that i can dismiss a newly created file, and go to the next file - instead of being shown an image preview which i have no way of “going to the next one” from.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue with file navigation in Review mode. The good news is it should be fixed in version 2.3.

Try one of these:

1. Go back to the chat where youtube_brand.svg was changed, find the file change in the chat history, click the Review button next to it, then click the checkmark at the top to accept the changes.

2. Fully close the problematic chat and work in a new one.

3. If that didn’t help, try this workaround:

   • Fully close Cursor
   • Rename youtube_brand.svg using your file manager
   • Open Cursor (the file will show an error)
   • Rename the file back to its original name

If the issue still happens after these steps, please share a screenshot of the UI with the stuck button and the Request ID (chat context menu > Copy Request ID).
