Run button not appearing in command box

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

When the allowlist is too big, the ‘Run’ button doesn’t appear (I can increase the size of the window to half my screen to see the ‘Run’ button).

Steps to Reproduce

Ask the AI to use a long command.

Expected Behavior

Probably a shortened Allowlist with maybe a see full command option (You can already see the full command in the command box), with a ‘Run’ button next to it.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hi @ItayA

A fix for this was recently shipped (after your current build was created). Could you update Cursor to the latest version and check if the issue is resolved? You can update via Help > Check for Updates or by restarting Cursor.

If the Run button is still hidden after updating, please let me know, and we’ll take another look.

Hey!

Check for updates says I am on the latest version, but the bug appeared again.

Thanks for confirming. I wasn’t able to reproduce this on a newer build, which means a fix for this has likely landed but hasn’t reached the stable channel yet (your current build is from April 7).

You should get it in the next stable update. Keep an eye on Help > Check for Updates over the next few days, and let me know if the issue persists after updating.
