I actually just ran into this today as well and found this post through a Google search - turns out, even though the circle is spinning, you need to actually click the “Search” button to execute the search (check the “Remember my preference” box if you want it to automatically do that in the future).
The search itself still took about 30secs after clicking Search, but it did get there in the end!
(seems like the UX could be improved a bit here)
Really! Thank you so much, this appears to work. I guess I was mistaken, because previously I experimented with yolo mode, and in yolo mode it would automatically search. And having that animated icon led me to believe it was searching already, like in yolo mode.
