Is anyone else experiencing serious lag issues. Today (4 Feb 2025) I updated Cursor and since then everything has been slow. I have cleared my cache on my Mac, restarted the computer and even had to close down other browsers or software but Cursor is very slow.
It’s difficult to do anything because of the lag.
Anyone experiencing this?
I wait at least 5-10 minutes for slow requests. It’s unclear whether we’re purchasing a service or if they’re giving it out of charity. I’ve never had to wait this long on ChatGPT.
The queue time increases the more you use the slow pool, so that we can keep the usage fair for those who are only slightly outside of their usage allowance.
If you do not want to purchase more premium fast requests, you can always use a different model. OpenAI models should have shorter queues then Anthropic ones, due to our ongoing issues with Anthropic capacity, and DeepSeek v3 is non-premium, so can be used without every queuing or worrying about usage!
