Shift + cmd + K not working, and undefined showing in terminal hint

Two issues I’ve found, and I did not see them already posted after searching the forum:

  • shift + cmd + k is not working for me; a line of text does appear in the bottom right, however. Perhaps I am misunderstanding how to use the feature. (see image)
  • undefined shows at the bottom of the terminal hint (see image)

For me, this keyboard combo is just triggering the normal CMD+K action that opens the AI interactive modal. This has removed the normal editor functionality.

I often use CMD+SHIFT+K to delete an entire line. Now it seems I cannot do that.

Perhaps in your case, your issue is something else - Can you try just CMD+K and see if you have the same error?

I figured out the key bindings are just duplicated. I removed CMD+SHIFT+K from the keyboard shortcut menu (hit CMD+P, then type: “>keyboard” to open shortcut bindings).

I could not figure out how to delete the user entry, but just changed it to also be CMD+K, so CMD+SHHIFT+K would fallback to the original functionality.

The update seemed to resolve the issue I was having. Thanks for your thoughts!

Seems you are a user from vscode, you can try:
