Shortcut settings removed after downgrade

I got upgraded to 0.45.0, then downgraded again yesterday to 0.44.11. After the downgrade my changed shortcuts stopped working. I found they were all reset to default.

Today I got upgraded to 0.45.1 and my shortcuts were working again. But I accidentally “updated” again and got downgraded to 0.44.11 and my shortcuts are reset again.

Hey, that’s strange because I checked this behavior on my end, and it didn’t happen to me. You can go to the folder where your custom shortcuts are located and look for them there. To do this, open the command palette and enter what I have in the screenshot. A folder with your data will open, find the User folder, go into it, and look for the file keybindings.json.

Ah, I see the extension I’m using is not working (my custom shortcuts still work)… The IntelliJ shortcut bindings I use (most shortcuts are changed) do not work. I guess the newer Cursor (also VS Code) allowed update to newer extension, which is now not compatible with older version.

Downgraded the IntelliJ IDEA keybindings extension 1 version (to 1.7.2) and now it works.
