Same here. This is ridiculous. The value was fair previously, but now I’m looking for alternatives.

This is really disruptive to the workflow, and also very disappointing that Cursor is doing this kind of tricks. If nothing improves, I will be forced to go search for another product.

Or you can just put the Gemini API key in cursor. Then all gemini requests will be billed to the API key instead, at the API price. And you can still enable max mode as well. This still requires pro subscription to work with agent mode though (or any custom mode with tool call capabilities, ask or manual mode should work even for the free users).
100% agree with this. The Agent mode is unusable at this time as each request takes between 3-10 minutes.
I have paid a year upfront but if this isn’t rectified, I will do a chargeback on the credit card

4 days have passed, I still can’t use cloude 3.5 or 3.7 anymore. Is this the only problem I have? Has this not been resolved yet?
The 500 requests have ended and the cursor has stopped working. I can’t use anything else? Only chatgpt 4.1 is working and even then, it’s very slow.
It’s quite disappointing that Cursor actually blocked the article title from being searchable on their forum.

If I wanted to pay-per-token, I wouldn’t be using Cursor..
