This is not resolved as I am still experiencing it right now, with the latest version of 0.50.7.
I started a new chat but it’s still generating forever:
Tried restarting Cursor fully, and then also opened the Chat tab in only one editor - I have multiple cursor windows opened; after a valid Connection Failed error, it works after retrying.

its happening to me now. just started using cursor for couple days, and i just bought pro account and its just “generating” to any/all prompt

This problem just started happening to me too. Stuck on generating. I tried the Apples Silicon DMG above. That didn’t work either.

do you have anything for intel mac as well ? apple silicon is not working for us and it gets stuck for eternity …
Had this same bug after switching to pro account today. Tried install apple silicon version and created a few new chat windows, still generating forever. Is there something else to try? I’m on Version: 1.1.7
