As you can see I have them both side by side, but I’d like to have them stacked. The only way I was able to do this before was to combine the terminal and debug console together and then combined it with the chat, but that’s not what I’m looking for.
Hey, you should be able to press the three dots at the top right and click open as editor, which should enable the chat to be a moveable tab, much like any of your files, and be stacked vertically with the terminal.
If I open the terminal in an editor pane then I can stack them, but as a panel I can’t! I lose the split screen functionality of the terminal when I have it in an editor window.
So, to be clear, you are trying to have:
< EDITOR >
< CHAT / COMPOSER>
< TERMINAL>
as a layout, stacked like that?
Should still be possible using the editor layout for the chat I believe!
Editor to the left, and on the right a panel containing terminal and chat/composer stacked. If I have them set as editors, then when I move files around between grids and stuff like I normally do it breaks down because now the cursor + terminal panes are editors as well. It’s super annoying.
Should still be possible using the editor layout for the chat I believe!
How?
Hey, I’ve tried the layout you ask for and you are right, have the Terminal not fill the whole bottom of the screen isn’t possible right now!
Right! Brutal!
I want the exact same thing.
