Start a Thor Commerce storefront with Cursor Agent — setup prompt

I’m behind Thor Commerce, and I’m looking for people to try creating an online store with a setup prompt. It’s free to try.

Paste this into Cursor Agent with terminal access on your computer:

Help me create a Thor store on my computer. If you cannot run commands locally, tell me and stop.

Ensure Node.js LTS (22.18+), npm/npx, Git and pnpm are installed; install missing prerequisites.

Create or reuse a ThorStores folder in my home directory. Run npx --yes create-thor-store@latest with --workspace pointing to that folder, and follow its instructions.

Once onboarding opens, show me the link, leave the runner running, and end your turn. Do not inspect or control my browser or ask for choices collected there. I’ll paste the completion prompt when finished.

The flow is: check the local prerequisites → start the store creator → complete onboarding in your browser → paste the completion prompt back into the agent. Keep the runner running during onboarding.

Then ask your agent to customize the storefront for your own product idea or a client prototype. For a first task, try changing the homepage layout while preserving the existing cart and checkout behavior.

If you give it a try, did you get to a working store, or did anything trip you up?
