How do you stop or cancel @Mention so it doesn’t continue ‘using’ @ in the following chat? Sometimes @ + something results in too much useless chat, and it seems to persist until I start a new chat. Sorry for the trivial question, but I could not find an answer here or in the docs
For the time being, I think the only way is to manually go back and delete the @ symbols from prior messages. If this is a concern we hear from a number of users, we could try to come up with a better fix here.
It would be great if someone could make a few Cursor videos going through a chat workflow and other features. I paid for Cursor as I thought it was an exciting project, but Cursor’s documentation is really lagging. I might give it one or two more months before I have to call it quits. The back-and-forth between error and chat is confusing. Adding a @Mention works, but you must restart the chat if it results in a problematic conversation. I could not find anything about how Cursor maintains the history of your conversation and how to provide related follow-up questions. Currently, it seems to wander off from the code problem to checking the file and explaining high-level fixes.
