Hi @bug Thanks for your post. We do have automations in place to keep the forum tidy, involving auto-closing of older threads. However, we also have connections to link threads to bug reports, so if a report is filed and completed, we can notify you even if a thread has been closed due to inactivity.
In my professional work we keep issues open until they are closed. where closure means either way it;s fixed or a will-not-fix thing. Then issues have priorities , milestone targets and owners. Nothing can be seen about that on this forum.
