Stopped pushing to main branch on GitHub

Describe the Bug

Hi,

What I can I do for it to comeback pushing to the main branch?

  1. I created a new chat, connected it to the main branch.
  2. Gave prompts, deployed to Vercel.
  3. I didn’t see any changes.
  4. I discovered that Cursor was automatically creating a new branch and pushing to it.
  5. I asked it to push to main branch, and it simply didn’t do it. He said he did, I went to Github main branch to verify and he didn’t push anything today to the main branch. I did a lot of work today.

Steps to Reproduce

Expected Behavior

Cursor AI should publish to main branch (as I connected it to it) and not create an automatically a new branch (evenmore, not telling me about it).

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Web version. So I guess it its updated.

Does this stop you from using Cursor
