Cursor is freezing: When I enter any prompt in the chat and run it, it gets stuck at “generating…” and doesn’t produce anything. Changing the selected LLM doesn’t make a difference. Even when I stop and rerun it, the same problem persists. Opening a new chat doesn’t fix the issue either. I constantly have to force quit Cursor. After force quitting and reopening, it works fine for 1-2 prompts, but then the same problem happens again. I’m experiencing this issue on version 0.48 early access. How can I fix this problem?
Hey, usually creating a new chat should solve the problem. Try it, and if it doesn’t work, try opening another project and check there.

Guys, I’ve solved the problem. I checked the Activity Monitor and saw that Cursor was using 156% of my CPU. There was a node consuming a significant amount of processing power. I removed it, and the CPU usage returned to normal. I also moved my project to another folder and cleared the chat history. Everything is running smoothly now. The most crucial step is to check the Activity Monitor.
