I’m running the latest version of Cursor on Windows 11 (+WSL2 Ubuntu).
I’ve been seeing an issue for the past couple of days, where at least agent mode gets stuck on “Generating…”, but produces no output at all. It seems to happen at least in Claude 3.5 and 3.7, I haven’t tested with other models.
Sometimes it does work, however in only happened twice out of multiple attempts.
What I have tried:
- checked for newer Cursor updates
- ensured I’m not using a VPN
- Rebooted my machine
- Closed / reopened Cursor
- Opened a new agent chat
It also seems to be using credits for at least some of these failed / unanswered requests - which I believe is not fair.
I’ve noticed others reported similar issues, and when checking status.cursor.com it appears that all services are operational.
