Supabase MCP is activated but whatever I prompt, it is not picking up that there is a MCP enabled with a working connection.
I’m using a Mac if that is important for the question.
Any ideas?

I fixed it by restarting Cursor for a couple of times, started a new Chat, now it is working. Huh. Not very promising if someone has the same issue like me, but, give it a try.
i add the MCP server connections with .cursor/mcp.json. It enables on the first try. The green light in cursor setting turns on.
I have both remote and local supabase enabled. It works in agent mode using claude. prompt is explain supabase MCP add the mcp.json file.
Same here but it times out for me says it called the tool
also how do i get it to call tool and perform query on db without me asking it? Rules?
I haven’t experience any tool call timeout recently. You might want to monitor your RAM. Running a local supabase docker is running database and a backend server.
