Describe the Bug
Sometimes I copy a file, then rename it. In the meanwhile Cursor recommends TAB to file
as per screenshot. After I rename, this little Tab to
just remains perpetually until I close and reopen cursor.
Steps to Reproduce
Do something so that the Tab to
thing pops up at the bottom. Right click the file where it wants to tab to and rename it. Now the little pop up stays forever until Cursor restarts.

Now I see in related tab that these issues from before are essentially the same:
Describe the Bug
Whenever a “Tab to ” button appears hovering at the bottom of the editor screen, the tab key becomes unresponsive and the hovering button/dialog is un-clickable and un-closeable. It seems like this is part of the multi-file tab-complete feature, but it does not work whatsoever. Every time this happens i have to force reload window or it’s just stuck there.
Steps to Reproduce
Seems to happen when there is a pending tab complete in an open file tab but then you change a filename …
Describe the Bug
Since i opened cursor today and i can’t use it for more than a couple of minutes.
When it starts suggesting multi-file completion, it then gets stuck, and the tab key is also stuck.
So when i press tab, it doesn’t auto-complete nor insert a normal tab (spaces)
And the only solution is to restart the window.
Update: I just noticed that the file it is trying to jump to is a file I just deleted, so it gets stuck when i delete a file that has an auto-complete suggestion
