Task bar pin disappearance

I typically like to pin cursor to the task bar in Windows (I’m using windows 11 home), but for some reason it keeps saying “This item that the shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly”

I think this may happen when updates are rolled out.

I’m not 100% sure on that, but yeah.

Could you check and see if that’s the case?

Yeah this is a known issue that can happen when updates fail to complete properly. We’ve got some improvements coming to the install/update procedure soon which should fix this if you keep seeing it

For now you can just unpin and repin Cursor to the taskbar as a temporary fix
