Hey, unfortunately this still isnā€™t fully fixed in recent versions. Weā€™re seeing similar reports from other users, including on the latest builds.

The workaround you shared earlier (disabling ConPTY and using Git Bash as the default profile) is still one of the best options on Windows. Is it still working for you on the current version, or did it break again?

For reference, another user in this thread (@MahdiNazemi-NVIDIA) pointed out that the agent should ideally use terminal.integrated.automationProfile instead of terminal.integrated.profiles. Thatā€™s solid feedback, and the team is tracking it.

This is on the teamā€™s radar. I canā€™t share an ETA yet, but your reports and the workaround details are helping us prioritize it. If the ConPTY workaround stops working on your current version, send your version info and I can flag it again.
