Hey there!
Two things that help today:
- Cursor Settings → General → Startup → Window Restoration → set Last Used Windows, then quit while you’re in the window you want to land in next time.
- From the Agents Window, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+N (or Command Palette → Open IDE) jumps back to the classic editor quickly.
There isn’t per-mode memory for sidebar/panel sizes yet, so those resets aren’t something you misconfigured. We’ll be tracking this thread to gauge interest, which helps our product team prioritize. If others hit the same friction, chime in here.
