Upvote - it was working fine, suddenly stopped doing apply. Asking me to manually create files. Restarting the tool doesn’t change the behavior.

I broke it out of this silliness by changing AI models. 4o is working normally - claude 3.5 refused to show the apply anymore.

UP this is on the most important feature, and it’s not showing anymore.

thanks for the report, this should be fixed in the next update! to confirm, when the same chat is the right pane, you see an option to apply, correct?

Initially no Apply button appears.
But if I then click on the code window, the Apply button sometimes appears, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

Update: For me, now its working suddenly again. :+1: Thank you

Upvote - but also…

I’ve noticed this more often recently - and THINK that this sometimes occurs when the context changes for the Agent (Normal). Sometimes I inadvertently remove a file from the context, and notice It switches modes.

Anyone else notice this?

Can you select the relevant piece of code and then redo the above steps? Does it work in that case?

same here, can’t auto apply, cursor keeps showing error message with this code:

As @rishabhy mentioned, we believe we have a fix for this our in v0.44, which is rolling out to everyone over the next day or so. Let us know if you still face this on the latest version!

The apply button is missing for me. It wasn’t until today, but as of 0.44.5, it’s gone.

It was working fine until I switched to the paid version of your app and now it does not work at all. I wasted money on you guys. Fix this issue some how

Could you share a screenshot of what it looks like with the apply button missing? We removed it for when the model does not want to make a change (is just showing code that exists elsewhere in the codebase).

Screenshot attached. It does it regardless of the type of query, and regardless which model I connect to

FWIW I uninstalled, reinstalled and tried again, and there’s still no apply button. Unfortunately the download available on the Cursor website is the same one I already had installed, so Cursor has become unusable for me.
