This looks like a known HTTP/2 issue. Please try these steps:
- Settings
Ctrl+,. Search for “HTTP/2”, enable “Disable HTTP/2”, restart Cursor, and test again in a new chat. - Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics, then send a screenshot of the results.
- Are you using a VPN or proxy, or do you have any MCP servers connected? Please try disabling them.
If the issue persists, please send:
- The Request ID from the error popup (if shown)
- Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console, plus a screenshot of any errors
