Operating System

Node.js: 20.19.1

Additional Information
Cursor works perfectly, and this only happens for a few seconds.
The dialog is more annoying than the issue itself — because without the dialog, I wouldn’t even notice the problem.
Does this stop you from using Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue
I don’t get this often. But when I do, nothing but restarting Cursor resolves it.

With all due respect, but I don’t see that as a solution.

@yakovw thank you for the bug report.
We may need further information to identify the cause.
Please check Help > Open Process Explorer and post here a screenshot.
Do you have any processes running in terminal within Cursor?
Does this also occur on a new project? (would indicate large chat storage)
Does this occur when you run with extensions disabled? cursor --disable-extensions
Definitely not a solution. Just providing a data point of what I have been doing when it happens.

I don’t have anything to add regarding the other tests.
It needs to really annoy me for me to check it properly.
I only posted it as a favor so you’ll know it’s happening in the latest version.
But for all those details, it would have to happen again and again and if it does, then I’ll check everything thoroughly.
