Hi
Cursor keeps closing down on its own. Even when it does no work. I can also see that there are multiple cursor “services” running. I am using windows 11.
latest cursor update.
This happened last year, and stopped.
not sure if this is linked to the latest update.
Steps to Reproduce
Not sure you can on your side. It happens automatically.
Expected Behavior
Cursor IDE should not close and go to bed while I am still n a working mood.
Operating System
Windows 10/11

Hey, could you provide more details on what’s happening? Is the Cursor window crashing? Do you see any errors? Also, try booting in safe mode using this command in the terminal: cursor --disable-extensions. Please also share screenshots of the Task Manager and Process Explorer.
Please let us know if running for an extended period (a day or two) without the SpecStory extension eliminates the problem. We do everything we can to keep SpecStory working on all platforms and on new versions of Cursor, so we would fix it right away if it’s the root of your crashes.
