Cursor crashes every time I open it

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

Whenever I open Cursor, the application only stays visible for about 1–2 seconds before it automatically closes. This issue occurs on the latest version of Cursor. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, including version 2.0.77, but the problem still persists.

Open the App

Expected Behavior

Cursor crashes every time

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: Lastest Version

Download the latest stable version from Download · Cursor
If that doesn’t resolve it, try running cursor --disable-extensions from command line to rule out extension issues
