Try reinstalling Cursor by following these instructions.
This was originally posted 6 months ago, but Iām getting 5 or 6 or these a day now in August 2025, so the problem is still there and has maintained itself through the past 3 updates. The above link to suggested instructions is a general FAQ list, with details of how to uninstall, but how does that help?
