The thinking mode is by default on or off depending on the model you choose. For example, thinking mode is enabled by default for claude-3.7 sonnet. This is inconvenient since enabling thinking mode doubles the amount of tokens spend.
Is this on purpose or a bug, or am i overlooking something.
In Cursor version 0.50.4, “thinking” is handled by different models.
You can go to Cursor Settings => Models to enable or disable the models you need.
This helps prevent incorrect selections.
